It was such a pleasure doing business with Kirk and his team on our recent excavation. Honest, professional and just all around nice people! They went above and beyond with helpful suggestions and attention to detail. My husband and I highly recommend them without hesitation!

Kirk Stapleton is the most honest person in the septic system business and as honest as any person in any business could be.
He’s also very smart and knowledgeable and has a great reputation with inspectors because he does a perfect job the first time. He will always help you find the best solution to your particular building site.
You can’t beat knowledge and honesty.
He’s also born and raised in Marble Falls and the Austin area has a great work ethic and great machinery to get the job done in a timely fashion.

Pedernales was recommended to us by our builder. We had many vendors to considered and decided to go with Kirk. His professionalism, honesty, and extreme knowledge of his trade is why we chose him. Sometimes I feel like he chose us! Building in the hill country is complicated enough and going into this blindly was scary. Kirk spent the time and had the patience to educate us through the entire process. Our lot topography is complicated and could have been cost prohibited for us to build our dream home and yet Kirk found a way to help us achieve our dream. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results.

Pedernales made it easy ... and for that, I am so grateful and appreciative of the partnership.

I recently hired Pedernales Excavating to build a cart path from my lakehouse down to our dock which required building a switchback down a steep drop off.
Having owned a few businesses in the past I have had many opportunities to hire subcontractors. It is rare that you find one that does what they say they will do, at the negotiated price they told you they would charge, and have the job completed well before they promised. Kirk is that kind of guy. A perfectionist in his trade and a gentleman in how he conducts his business and life.
I can say from experience you will be pleased with your choice of contractor if you hire Pedernales Excavating.

Kirk did an excellent job with the installation of our septic system for our newly built home. He paid attention to detail with the excavation of the property. He was responsive to all our calls and texts. I would recommend Perdernales Excavating to everyone. June Williams
